“I wanted freedom, open air and adventure. I found it on the sea.” Alain Gerbaullt

This really resonates with me and my yachting career, I didn’t however become a sailor who circumnavigated the sea single handedly but instead I have become a lady who has developed into a supportive, kind, passionate and loyal Chief stewardess, navigating through various personalities, requests, and outrageous change of events. As we all know our lives at sea are not in the control of our hands.
WHAT AN ADVENTURE…

My career started back in 2012, when I flew with two very good friends to Palma, and started out like most yachties do, dock walking. I am sure most of you have heard how it’s really about being at the “right place at the right time” and it was certainly my lucky day when I got offered my first job on this world cruising, family orientated, well run super yacht.

My life at sea began and what a journey it has been, oh the places you go, the people you meet, the joy you gift to others and the mind blowing experiences you get to witness. It is no wonder my love for this industry flourished.
Allowing me the opportunity of tasting some of the finest ingredients, sailing to some of the most remote locations and witnessing some of the very best levels of service the world has to offer.
How can you not love that feeling of developing a warm and welcoming atmosphere on board, I just hope that is what everyone has felt when they’ve crossed my path. Together with a close knit team, making guests dreams come true…

After completing many courses, finding a love for Yoga and advancing more in the gift of giving, I have developed some strong bonds, with both guests and crew, in this wonderful world of yachting, and I only have them to thank for helping me develop into the Chief Stewardess that I am today.
I would really like to thank YPI Crew for considering me as a candidate and I only hope to do you all proud and show my level of gratitude to you all.
I would not be where I am today if it wasn’t for my teams, mentors, captains and guests teaching me something new everyday.

“There is nothing more enticing, enchanting and enslaving than a life at sea” Joseph Conrad
