Coming from a land-based engineering role in the UK I unknowingly fell into yachting after assisting an owner Captain with his yacht engineering whilst on holiday in the Balearics, later that year we set sail on a passage from Ibiza to Egypt where I was offered a paid position as deck engineer on another SY. Since then I have climbed the ranks to become a diverse and successful Captain with 11 years experience in the superyacht industry, with the past 7 years in command of private and charter motor yachts. Currently running the 43m charter M/Y Moka.
Extensive experience primarily in the Mediterranean, USA, Caribbean, Red Sea and also Australia.
I always strive for perfection and like to think outside of the box, finding new locations, activities and ideas to give the guests the best experience on board. The crew motto is “let’s get creative” – anything is possible in yachting!
