3 years ago I started out in yachting. What a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs! Not just professionally but personally. 18 months ago, when I joined Iman I was really struggling with my inner demons. Thankfully, with the help of all the crew on the yacht, I felt confident enough to admit to myself and others that I would no longer identify as male. Coming out as non binary in such a prejudiced industry took all my courage, but I feel all the better for it. 4 months ago I decided to join a dual season yacht so I could explore more of the world. The crew on Siren couldn’t be more lovey. I am for ever thankful for joining this industry which has broaden my horizons in myself, and the world around me.
