FADLALLAH operates in the Red Sea, home-ported at Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. There’s none of the usual infrastructure for Superyachts that can be found in the Mediterranean or USA so the crew have to become adept at doing everything themselves without shore support or even daywork. All of this in the heat and dust of a desert.
The crew is remarkably long-serving. One crew member has been on board since the yacht was delivered 25 years ago in 1996. The Captain has been on board for 22 years. Currently the 8 crew have a total of 101 years service! Key to this longevity are respect and loyalty – in all directions, up down and to each other.
