At this year’s prestigious Monaco Yacht Show, Shore Based Pursers will be holding a Purser Clinic to offer one-to-one guidance and tips to superyacht crew in need of help with their administrative and operational procedures.
The Purser Clinic will be a part of the ACREW Monaco event hosted at La Rascasse during MYS2016 to tackle specific needs of superyacht crew in a convenient and informative format.
After their recent crew workshop at the Palma Boat Show, Shore Based Pursers were approached by many of the attending crew to help answer specific questions they had about day to day issues they were currently facing with fellow crew, communication, management, accounts and software – so much so that there wasn’t enough time there and then to help everyone.
At Monaco, senior consultants from Shore Based Pursers will be on hand between 09:00 and 17:00 Wednesday-Friday (28-30 September) offering tips and advice for common issues that superyacht captains and interior crew come across, as well as answering general questions about the role of a Purser and sharing helpful tools and templates to make day-to-day admin more manageable.
They will also be offering a free trial hour of their time to any crew needing particular practical admin assistance such as travel booking, research, printing, collating expenses, sorting out misbehaving documents or any other useful assistance.
