Yachting Ventures supports entrepreneurs through a fixed-term program that includes mentorship, connections and educational content. It is an immersive experience, aiming to accelerate the growth of early-stage ventures by compressing years’ worth of learning into just 6 weeks.
They are completely remote and the course is designed to fit around other commitments, such as a full-time job. All the sessions are recorded and content is accessible online, so you will be able to work at your own pace – wherever you are in the world. They recommend setting aside 5-6 hours per week to fully engage with the program and get the most out of it.
They are stage-agnostic and each of the 6 weeks represents a different stage in the startup journey, from initial idea validation through to growth strategies and attracting investment.
PART 1: BUILD
The first step on any startup journey is to validate your idea and establish whether there is a market for your product or service. Once you’ve identified a solid need, it’s time to build your Minimum Viable Product (MVP) so you can start onboarding customers and iterating based on their feedback.
For post-launch startups, product development is very much an ongoing process and involves engaging with existing customers or with a new target audience to establish whether they would use and buy your proposed product or service. They will also cover various types of business models, to help you figure out how to monetise your startup and become financially sustainable.
WEEK 1: VALIDATION
WEEK 2: MVP & BUSINESS MODEL
PART 2: GROW
Once you’ve established product/market fit and you’ve built your MVP or new product, you’re ready to launch and go to market. The first step is to think about your value proposition, brand identity and how to differentiate yourself from your competitors.
Marketing is a natural part of growing any startup, and they’ll touch on both online and offline marketing strategies which can help you engage with your target audience (tailored, of course, to the yachting industry).
As you start to grow, it is important to consider implementing procedures, automation and expanding your team with the right people, to ensure that you can effectively scale. fogadóiroda hiba
WEEK 3: BRANDING & MARKETING
WEEK 4: SALES & SCALING
PART 3: RAISE
The notion of raising investment usually comes into the picture once you’ve established that there is a demand for your product or service, and built some traction.
Although many companies will choose to grow organically, others will look to accelerate their growth by taking investment. Investors come in all shapes and sizes, and it’s wise to look for an investor that can bring strategic support and expertise, as well as the cash. mobile gaminator
We will introduce you to various types of investors who will run you through the ins and outs of investment, to ensure you make informed decisions and fully understand the materials and mindset needed to raise capital.

YV COMMUNITY
Communities are powerful and it really is all about your environment. The community we’re building at YV allows for knowledge and resource sharing, increases your brand awareness and industry exposure, helps make connections to the right people at the right time and offers support wherever and whenever possible.
Relationships built over the course of the program should withstand long into the future and will serve as the basis for driving a change in startup culture within the yachting space. You will meet all the entrepreneurs that have participated in previous YV cohorts, which should provide further guidance and inspiration, as well as presenting collaboration and partnership opportunities.
The aim is to build a global network of startup support and accelerate what has traditionally been an industry slow to adapt to change. We are getting there and making good progress.
