The announcement of the fuel farm opening in Christophe Harbour marked a substantial change in the future of superyachting in the region. Vessels up to 85 metres can refuel easily and for around 10 cents less per gallon than in the US. Attendees will join ex-Captain and Marina Manager Aeneas Hollins in a tour of the state-of-the-art facility, built to the highest specifications with the latest in technology. The fuel farm features high-end hydrant connection and nozzle dispensing options, a state-of-the-art leak detection system with remote monitoring technology, an automatic in-tank water intrusion detection system and a unique online dual-filtration system at the pump manifold for diesel vessel deliveries. With lots of opportunities to discuss all things fuel, including bunkering tips and tests, for those interested, this will be a unique and fascinating tour.
