During this workshop, you will discover a medical emergency on board and your stress response kicks in, this is why excellent first aid knowledge and confidence in that knowledge is such a critical skill.
In this session Medaire will be refreshing basic medical knowledge, learning simple and effective ways to assess the casualty and treat life-threatening conditions, with real-life scenarios and demonstrations.

2. Understanding the importance of checking accurate vital signs for appropriate diagnosis
3. Building a sense of situational awareness for treating first aid at sea compared to ashore
