One of the most important functions of marine fenders is to protect while also complimenting the yachts external body from damages. Absence of fenders, or incorrect use of them, can cause serious damage to the hull plates. It can subsequently inflict damage to the berth or jetty platform when it comes in contact with the yacht. Mike from AERE Marine Group will teach you all the essentials on the practical fendering. Get to grips on various fender types, their application and effective solutions for maintenance. The second part of this workshop will include a crew challenge. The challenge is a surprise but it’s all about being quick and efficient. The lucky winner gets to go home with a SUP!
