ACREW organised a 3-day Familiarisation Trip to the world-renowned Lürssen Shipyard, exclusively designed for industry-leading captains.

Day 1 of the trip began with a flight to Hamburg, followed by a comfortable transfer to the Adina Hotel Hamburg Michel. We kick-started the trip by taking captains on a guided tour of Hamburg’s famous Reeperbahn district, where they experienced the city’s vibrant nightlife scene. We ended the day with dinner at the oldest Italian restaurant in Hamburg, located on the Reeperbahn.

On Day 2, we picked up the captains from the hotel for a full day of activities. The day began with an introduction and presentation session from Lürssen Shipyard, followed by a delicious lunch. After lunch, captains had the opportunity to tour the shipyard and witness the various stages of yacht construction. Our expert engineers and craftsmen were available to answer any questions and provide valuable insights into the design and engineering process. In the evening, we gathered for a networking dinner, where captains could connect with other industry leaders.

On Day 3, we said goodbye as captains departed from Hamburg.
