Keynote Speaker: Dr Holly Trusted, V&A Museum

When a superyacht is arrested and prized possessions confiscated because of infringing cultural heritage laws, it is now vital for captains to understand the regulations concerning national treasures in various territories. Dr Holly Trusted FSA is a graduate of Cambridge University and the Courtauld Institute of Art. She is Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the Victoria and Albert Museum, and has published and lectured widely on sculpture, notably British and Spanish, as well as baroque ivories. She was formerly Senior Curator of Sculpture at the V&A and curated many of its galleries for over 30 years, culminating in the Cast Courts, which re-opened in 2018. Dr Trusted will explain how a superyacht owner should avoid falling foul of customs boarding the vessel at new destinations.
