ACREW’s Chef Competition returns for its second edition, bringing together top yacht chefs to battle it out in an intense showcase of culinary talent. Expect creative dishes, impressive techniques, and a celebration of the extraordinary skill found in the yachting industry.

This culinary showdown promises a lineup of talented yacht chefs competing head-to-head in a fierce competition, racing against the clock and using a select amount of ingredients provided by Gourmet Deliveries. Competition Details
First Stage: Individual Competition
In the first stage, chefs will participate in an individual competition, working entirely on their own to create a single dish that emphasises a hero ingredient. Apart from the hero ingredient, chefs will be allowed to select only eight additional ingredients from the fresh fruit and vegetable stand or the pantry and fringes to create their dish. In this stage, chefs will be challenged to elevate their craft and prepare a memorable and innovative dish. Judges will evaluate their creations based on ingredient utilisation, technique execution, flavour profile, and presentation.
Second Stage: Group Competition
With chefs competing in groups, the second stage focuses on collaboration. Each group will be tasked with creating three types of appetizers which pair harmoniously with one of three tequila types—Reposado, Mezcal, or Añejo—provided by Padre Azul.
The teams will need to create a cohesive menu of three appetizers that complement each other and pair perfectly with a single type of tequila. Each dish must enhance the tequila’s flavor profile, showcasing creativity, balance, and harmony. This challenge emphasises teamwork and innovative flavor combinations. In this stage, judges will assess creativity and innovation, teamwork and execution, incorporation of tequila, and presentation.
