ACREW has participated at the Palma Superyacht Show in Palma de Mallorca from Thursday 30th April – Monday 4th May 2015.

The programme included five days of signature professional development workshops open to crew from all departments on board and, as always, facilitated by top superyacht experts. The programme also offered evenings of entertainment including happy hours & lots of networking opportunities in a special ACREW Lounge setting.

ACREW welcomed a massive 268 crew members who attended and participated in their professional development workshops during the show. Lots of captains and crew joined our financial planning partners Tim Reedman (St James’s Place) and Oliver Maher (United Advisers Marine) and careers expert Jenny Howarth (IYC Crew) for an private consultation. Over 250 guests were served delicious lunches provided by our catering partner Neko Yacht Supply over the course of the event, complemented by a selection of Mallorcan wines provided by our partner No.12 Fine Wines & Provisions.

The atmosphere was electric during the evening Happy Hours on the terrace. YachtWrap presented 3 days of live wrapping demonstration on a 1m LOA replica yacht whilst crew relaxed in the late afternoon sunshine enjoying drinks, canapes and socialising and networking with each other and other industry professionals.
